Yes - and Saltair makes it easier than most. Modular homes can be financed, though the progress-payment structure can differ from a standard build. We are one of only a handful of CommBank Assessed Manufacturers under their prefab home lending program, which means buyers can access up to 80% of the build contract price while the home is being built off-site, instead of waiting until it is installed. In most cases yes, subject to your block, zoning and council approval. Our team assesses your site early and manages council requirements, engineering and delivery as part of our turnkey service, so you know where you stand from the start.
Yes. We tailor the layout, finishes and inclusions to your site and lifestyle, from compact homes through to acreage designs. You get the freedom of a custom home with the precision and certainty of factory manufacturing. We also have standard designs which can be fully customised as well as the ability to modularise any existing plans in-house.
Your home is manufactured in modules in our factory while site works happen in parallel. The finished modules are then delivered, craned into place and connected on your prepared foundations. Because the disruptive work happens off-site, modular is faster, cleaner and less weather-dependent than building on site.
Yes. They are engineered to the same standards as site-built homes and must be robust enough to withstand transport and craning and adverse weather conditions (area-dependent) which means solid, well-built construction. They are properly insulated and finished to a high standard, inside and out.
